Leslie Smith is heading up a group from Banks to help package meals for Hati. Below is the information if you are willing to help with this important mission.
Meals for Haiti packing event is Sat. June 5th 8:45am - 11:00 at Mineral Springs Methodist Church. I will be at Banks parking lot at 8:15 am if anyone wants to follow me to the church. If anyone wants to drive there directly, you go through Waxhaw, head east out of town on highway 75 for about 10 miles? then when you come to Mineral Springs the church is at the intersection of Potter Rd. and Hwy 75. Address is 5915 Old Waxhaw Monroe Rd. The event is being held in their Family Life Building separate from the sanctuary.
Last Sun. I had about 8 people come to me and say they were planning on attending. I think that is great, hopefully a few more will decide to come also, but if not, that is fine too. I reserved 15 spots for Banks Church.
