This page is under construction and will hopefully be completed in the near future. Here is a small preview of some of the amazing things that occured on this years mission trip to Honduras.

Dear family and friends,

The attached article will tell you about an event I experienced in Honduras I will never forget.  It is one of the most special things I've ever experienced.

I may not have the time to put together a full narration of the trip, but I have included four photos.  "Friends" will be self-explanatory.  "Elvia's old house" refers to the home of a lady named Elvia in Oscar's church in Yoro whose home was damaged this past year in an earthquake.  She has three precious kids--(forgotten the oldest one's name!), but the daughter is Jimena and the youngest son is Alberto (pictured in the third photo).

Our church here in Marvin gave funds for the construction of her new home, "Elvia's new house."  It too is quite small, but very clean and neat, with an outdoor wood fireplace kitchen.  Most of our time was spent at a youth conference in San Pedro Sula.  I had the opportunity to do a workshop on "Success in school," with the privilege of praying with a few of the students.

Love,

Scott
